Templates can minimize the time needed to create and edit risk assessments and provide a company-wide standard.
You have the option of saving information as a template and reusing it across projects:
- Text modules (particularly suitable for continuous texts)
- Danger points
- Protection concepts/templates for measures including a combination of several measures
- Phases of life with activity descriptions
- Entire machine components
Complete products or project templates can simply be used as copy templates. When copying, you then selectively decide which components are to be transferred to the new project.
Template management really comes into its own in series production: recurring machine types or system variants can be documented efficiently and consistently. The reuse of existing templates – e.g. for protective measures, danger points or complete components – significantly reduces the effort required for new projects. At the same time, standardization ensures uniform documentation and reduces sources of error in the CE process. But even in classic special machine construction, electrical hazards and technical requirements for pneumatics or hydraulics occur again and again to the same extent.
By using templates, you not only save time and resources, but also create a solid basis for standard-compliant risk assessments with consistent quality – regardless of how many variants or series you need to map.
